Confluva is a Beta product operated from India. This page explains the information used to run the service.

Information we process

We may process your Firebase authentication and account information, the intents you create, match information generated from those intents, feedback you submit, and technical information needed to operate and secure Confluva.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate accounts, find and show matches, maintain security, debug problems, and improve the Beta.

Service providers and other users

Confluva uses Firebase/Google for authentication and data services and Vercel to host the web app. They may process information as needed to provide those services.

Other users should only see information intentionally exposed through the matching experience, such as relevant intent and match details. Private account information and contact details are not publicly exposed through matches during Beta. Please avoid putting sensitive personal or contact information in intent text that others may see.

Usage and performance measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and page usage, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure loading speed and responsiveness. These services process technical information such as page paths, browser and device information, and approximate location. Web Analytics uses a short-lived request-derived identifier for aggregate visitor statistics rather than advertising cookies. Speed Insights measures performance without identifying individual users. We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page URLs sent by these integrations and do not add account details or intent content to telemetry events.

App verification

We use Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to help protect access to our data services from abuse. Google processes app and device information to assess whether requests come from a legitimate app. This verification complements account sign-in and access controls.

Retention and deletion

Information may be kept while it is needed to operate the service, address security or support issues, and meet applicable requirements. Retention can vary by type of information. If you want to ask about your information or request deletion, use the in-app feedback page. A dedicated support email is not available yet.
